Professional basketball player, Kevin Wayne Durant, is preparing to make a comeback to the court very soon. Durant has been out all season as he has been recovering from a surgery to repair a ruptured achilles tendon he received during the NBA finals. Durant was injured last season while playing for the Golden State Warriors before signing for the Brooklyn Nets. As Durant prepares to play for his new team, he shares his thoughts on how he is mentally getting himself ready for the rest of the season.

As we know, basketball is not just a physical game but a game of quick thinking. Having an opportunity to sit on the sidelines while his teammates play has given Durant a new view on the game he has been playing for years.

“I’m just looking at a game from a different lens, just seeing the landscape of the league, definitely just looking at our team and just seeing guys get better every day. I’m seeing practice habits. I’m seeing how they transfer to the games,” said Durant.

Durant has been having fun getting back into the groove of the game by playing 3-on-3 games with the guys every day. Durant continues his thought by saying, “I’m just looking at a game from a different lens, just seeing the landscape of the league, definitely just looking at our team and just seeing guys get better every day. I’m seeing practice habits. I’m seeing how they transfer to the games,”

The Brooklyn Nets currently holds the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference. Once Durant makes a comeback we are eager to see how the dynamic of their games switch up.
