According to Theory Communications “He was nominated alongside teammate Montrezl Harrell, he made sure to share his win with teammate upon acceptance stating “I want to give a special shoutout to my teammate, Montrezl, I just want to share this moment with him. It’s extremely difficult to be a finalist, but not only that, to have your teammate be there with you.”
He is currently tied with Jamal Crawford for this award
