Raheem DeVaughn Talks the LoveLife Foundation and Scholarships For Students

The LoveLife Foundation was founded by GRAMMY nominated singer, Raheem DeVaughn. His purpose was to spread the joy of love around the community and to the youth. This foundation is a non-profit organizations that allows DeVaughn to focus on several causes such as HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, mental illness, autism, cancer, education, music and the arts. They collaborate with different community organizations and foundations to raise awareness and take on these different issues that affects different communities. They’ve also been giving away scholarships to graduating seniors.

Ravin Williams, founder of JaGurl TV, had a chance to talk to DeVaughn about the positive things he’s been up to. “I got a brand new album out that’s doing well called “The Lover Reunion“… I’m doing a lot of humanitarian work as well, big shout out to my partners in AHF; we’re doing wonderful work in the sector and the field of HIV & AIDS, as well as helping those that are displaced through the organization as well so we got some great things going on right now.”

Not only has The LoveLife Foundation been raising awareness around the community about these different issues, they’ve given away a total of 15 scholarships in the last five years. The requirements for the scholarship is to be a graduating senior in high school. “Typically right now, the focus is on the DMV area” DeVaughn elaborated. They’ve had six students to receive a scholarship from them this current year.

Congratulations to Raheen DeVaughn’s successful organization, JaGurl TV hopes that they will continue to raise awareness to all communities and the youth.
