The Multi-Generational Talk Show “Red Table Talk” has been taking the world by storm since it launched May 7th 2018. The talk show stars well known actress Jada Pinkett Smith, her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris and Jada’s daughter Willow Smith.
It continues to make history by being the first digital series to be nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award.
According to People Magazine, the show will be running for the “Informative Talk Show” category; which definitely fits it well. Throughout the series it encouraged many open and unique conversations with many different people throughout the entertainment and news industry. Such as their interviews with Jordyn Woods, Gabrielle Union, August Alsina, Jane Elliot, Justin Baldoni, and etc.
The show is competing against NBC’s Today Show with Kathie Lee & Hoda and syndicated programs Access Live, The Dr. Oz Show, and Rachael Ray.
Jada Pinkett Smith showed her gratitude on Instagram last Wednesday by posting a caption saying “Thank you to everyone that supports @redtabletalk ,”. The Girls Trip star wrote;
“Our RTT family has become such a joyful part of our lives. Thank you to The Emmy Committee @televisionacad for embracing … the new. We appreciate you. Congrats to all the nominees.”
