Wiz Khalifah Donates Music Instruments to L.A School

Wiz Khalifa is giving back to students in Los Angeles who aspire to have a career in the music business. According to Variety.com, Khalifa surprised a group of students at Los Angeles Eliot Arts Magnet Academy on February 13, 2020 with a donation of musical instruments. The donation was revealed through a partnership with the national music education nonprofit, Little Kids Rock. The organization shared the news of the surprise with an Instagram post.

Little Kids Rock’s mission is to bring inclusive and culturally relevant music education programs to schools across Pasadena and L.A. “Learning from award-winning recording artists like Wiz means the world to our students and inspires them to keep working towards fulfilling their dreams,” said Lori Touloumian, Eliot Arts Magnet Academy principal. She continued, “We are incredibly grateful to Little Kids Rock for bringing these once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to our students and encouraging their endeavors in music education.”

Khalifa is proud of his efforts in helping students get access to the same opportunities he had growing up since music has always been a part of him “Music has always been a huge part of my life. I want to make sure that the kids of today’s generation get the same if not better opportunities that I got. It has been great to make this happen with Little Kids Rock”, says Khalifa in a statement.

The marijuana friendly artist just released his seventh mixtape entitled , It’s Only Weed Bro and has been establishing himself in the acting scene. Aside from his the character of Death on Apple TV plus show “Dickinson (which was released in November of 2019) he’s also scheduled to make a guest appearance on Fox’s animated series “Duncanville” as character, Mr. Mitch.
