On Saturday, Tiffany Haddish revealed to the world how she felt about the Georgia abortion ban. She considers it to be a new form of slavery and has decided to cancel her comedy show in the state.
Ms. Haddish told CNN “After much deliberation, I am postponing my upcoming show in Atlanta, I love the state of Georgia, but I need to stand with women and until they withdraw Measure HB481, I cannot in good faith perform there.”
She also got emotional as she continued explaining her reasoning “If I can’t have control of my body and if no other woman can have control over her body, why would I perform there? I don’t know how it’s going to be solved, to be honest with you, but what I do know is slavery is not cool. … I read that bill, and it looks like new slavery to me.”
