NBA star Kyrie Irving is finding the perfect way to help others start off the new year with everyone’s favorite thing, free money!

A few students at Lincoln University received some financial relief from the Brooklyn Nets point guard. Through his 11 days of giving campaign, nine students attending the Pennsylvania HBCU will have their remaining tuition paid in full.

According the BET news, Kylie Irving has done lots of philosophy work to make 2020 a little brighter. Along with the tuition payments, he also pledged money to fight racial inequality and donated resources to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic. In March, he donated $323,000 and 250,000 meals to people impacted by the virus in the greater New York area. He also contributed $1.5 million to pay WNBA players who decided to sit out of the 2020 season due to concerns about either the pandemic and the rising racial climate around America.

Kudos to Irving being an inspiration on and off the court!
