It’s focused on comedic situations within this group of friends, yet they also shared some serious topics. Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley were both spotted shooting the reboot in Los Angeles on Monday. It has been reported that the former students will be playing the role of parents during the reboot.

Mario shared a video of him and Elizabeth on set sitting down at the Max, which was the diner where the cast members would always come to hang out. Lopez revealed that he was shooting a promo for the new series and in the video you can see the actor Ed Alonzo, making his return as the Max owner.

The new series is stated to highlight on a group of limited income students moving into the opulent Pacific Palisades into the direction of Zack Morris. Morris became the Governor of California who ran into trouble after closing low-income high schools. A premier date for the Saved by the Bell reboot has yet to be announced.
