The 77th Annual Golden Globes aired Sunday night to honor the best in television and film. The award show was hosted by Ricky Gervais and was the kick off to this year’s award season. Some of the night’s biggest takeaways included best actress winner, Renee Zellweger, for Judy and Joaquin Phoenix who won best actor for his role in the film Joker.

Phoenix’s speech was probably one of the most memorable of the night as he talked climate changed issues and begged for celebrities to use their private jets less often. Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time…Hollywood” walked away with three awards as the film won best comedy or musical, along with best supporting actor for Brad Pitt and best screenplay for Tarantino. Netflix lead the nominations list with 34 nods across TV and film but the streaming service only walked away with one award as Olivia Colman won best actress for “The Crown”. See all the winners of the 2020 Golden Globes below.
