Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together. The couple began affiliating with one another in 2016. The “American Idol” judge and pop star made her pregnancy public by revealing her growing baby bump in the final moments of the music video for her new single “Never Worn White,” Katy’s first song of 2020.
In early September, Orlando told Howard Stern that kids were in his and Katy’s future. “I love kids. She’s great with kids. It would be a wonderful thing. We are shooting for that. It’s like this wild mustang. If we can just wrangle this beast and get on it, we’ll have the ride of our life.”
At the Women’s Cricket World Cup Finale in Australia, Katy announced during her performance, “I hope it’s a girl.”
The couple kept the baby news to themselves for months until it was time to reveal and let the world in on their secret. During an Instagram Live after the music video premiere on Thursday, Katy confirmed that she’s due this summer.
