MTV Movie & TV Awards returned Sunday, May 16th, for a special two-night event to highlight the biggest moments and shows on television.
The star-studded event aired live from the Palladium in Los Angeles. Hosted by actress and “SNL” star Leslie Jones, the night was jam-packed with antics, fun, and celebration.
This year’s standout winners include Chadwick Boseman, who won a posthumous award for his performance in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Disney +’s Marvel’s mini-series “WandaVision” led with a total of five nominations for a television series. The series won four awards; “Best Show,” “Best Performance in A Show,” “Best Fight,” and “Best Villain.”
Other jaw-dropping moments include Scarlett Johansson being slimed in the middle of her speech by her husband, Colin Jost.
Outer Banks, real-life couple, Chase Stokes “John B” and Madelyn Cline “Sarah Cameron” surprise fans with a steamy kiss after winning the award for “Best Kiss.”
