The rap group Rae Sremumurd appears to have broken up. In a set of tweets sent out by group member Slim Jxmmi over the weekend, he declared “I’m not Rae Sremmurd I’m Slim Jxmmi and ima sink or swim by myself,” sparking the question did the group break up.
More tweets put out by Jxmmi seemed to back that notion. One saying, “Y’all won it’s a wrap,” then another sating “Not SremmLife,” all of which he later deleted.
Over the last year or so Slim Jxmmi and his group member/brother Swae Lee have taken on solo projects, but they remained working on projects together, even preparing their new album “SremmLife4” which is set to come out later sometime this year.
The group/ siblings have been rumored to have broken up in the past, but this time seems to be different with the rumor being formed from what was said in Slim Jxmmi’s own tweets and with Swae Lee’s silence on the tweets his brother sent out, fans are left wondering if it’s “SremmLife forever,” or not at all.
