In October 2018, Netflix announced that this year will be the OITNB finale. It quickly became one of the biggest series to hit Netflix. As the filming for this up and coming season finale came to an end, the cast went to Instagram and Twitter to give their final farewells.
Laura Prepun (Alex) and Taylor Schilling (Piper) took their final couple photos together. Prepun posted it to twitter and said “Always love working alongside this beauty.”
She also made another post as she shot her final scene saying “that’s a wrap on one of the greatest gifts: bringing Alex Vause to life and being apart of this phenomenal show, #OITNB, #OrangeFamily. I am truly grateful for this grateful for this experience and for all of you.”
The Creator of the series Jenji Kohan posted a couple of great photos to Instagram.
Uzo Aduba also created a touching photo montage while thanking OITNB for making such a impact on her life.
Even though the Orange is the New Black era may be over, we’ll always have the memories of laughter, shock and anticipation they gave us.
