Tyler Perry Gives Back in A Major Way During COVID-19 Pandemic

Tyler Perry has always been known her his various acts of kindness throughout his career. On Wednesday, April 8th Tyler Perry surprised thousands of elderly shoppers at 44 Krogers in Atlanta, and 29 Winn-Dixie stores in varies cities in Louisiana by paying for their groceries.

The stores have dedicated their first hour to the elderly to have first pick at items that would be essential to them during this time of need. Mr. Perry wanted to pay it forward and paid for over 3000 shoppers groceries.

Kroger took to twitter to make the announcement and shine a light on the thoughtful community service Perry did for the senior shoppers.

But his generosity does not stop there. Just early in the week, Perry gave a $21,000 tip to 42 out-of-work servers at Houston’s restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. We see you Mr. Perry!
