Lebron James can now add “Sports Emmy Winner” to his long list of growing accomplishments!

In April 2019, James and his SpringHill Entertainment production company created the HBO Muhammad Ali documentary titled What’s My Name | Muhammad Ali Part I. The team was rewarded on August 11, 2020 with the Outstanding Long Sports Documentary Emmy Award in honor of their accomplishments. The two part documentary gave an inside look to the life of the famous boxer and humanitarian Muhammad Ali.

James tweeted, “Congrats to the whole team!” while he tagged his fellow executive producer and SpringHill partner Maverick Carter. “Love this project from the time we received it. WOW!!!”

To add to the great news, James was also nominated for his HBO talk show The Shop: UNINTERRUPTED for Outstanding Edited Sports Special or Series.
