Three 6 Mafia Set to Host First Indoor Concert Since Covid-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on out everyday interactions and social activities, including concerts, but that’s about to change thanks to one group of individuals.

The Hip-Hop group Three 6 Mafia announced via Instagram that they will be hosting the first indoor concert, the group has been approved to perform live by the Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear. Rapper, Project Pat is scheduled to open the concert.

Health regulations have been put into motion as well, according to a Billboard article, Rupp Arena’s 21,017 capacity will be limited to 15 percent, which amounts to 3,152 concert-goers and event staff. In addition to required face coverings, the fans in attendance will be subject to temperature checks upon entry.

The concert will take place December 11, 2020 at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. Tickets for the concert are currently available through Ticketmaster in “pods of 4 people or less” to ensure social distancing.
