“Baby Phat has always been designed by and for women,” says Kimora Lee Simmons. The feminine and sporty brand brought a lot of girls 2000s nostalgia when they relaunched the brand in 2019. Kimora Lee Simmons, founder of Baby Phat, took the brand and remade the collection for those same little girls who have now grown up into grown women. Baby Phat originally started their launch with a collab with Forever 21 in June 2019. Their success has pushed them to continue the trend by collaborating with Footlocker for its first ever women’s collection.

“Baby Phat has always been designed by and for women, and we’ve always bridged ‘feminine’ and ‘sporty.’ That’s what makes Foot Locker such a perfect partner,” exclaimed Kimora Lee Simmons, founder of Baby Phat. “They have their finger on the pulse of how women dress today because they’ve always cared about women. They understand that this is about lifestyle,” she said.

Although we are excited about the collection, the brand has also been doing great things for those affected by the Coronavirus. Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughters, Ming Lee and Aoki Lee, made a donation of 150,000 meals to Freedom Shield Foundation, with more donations planned in the future.
