I think its safe to say Shad Moss, better known as Bow Wow, is in his hosting bag yet again! The premiere for his new BET show “After Happily Ever After” premiered on BET Wednesday, October 19th at 10/9c and JaGurl TV spoke with the serial entrepreneur about the show, future projects with BET, and if he himself would trust any of his exes to help him find love.

This one-of-a-kind dating series asks the question – Can your ex help you find new love? Featuring people in long-term relationships that ended in divorce or separation, their exes will play matchmaker for their former partners in hopes of helping them let go, move on, and find love once again. “The show..it’s very toxic”, Bow Wow tells JaGurl TV jokingly, “We have former couples moving into this house, with the objective for them to find their next true love; the twist is, it’s your ex that will actually be find their next”.

The show follows divorced and separated influencer couples including Peter Gunz, Tara Wallace, Amina Buddafly, Jeremy Meeks, Melissa Meeks, “Mike Mike” Phillips, actress/singer Shar Jackson, comedian/actor/host Gary “G Thang” Johnson, YouTube personality/social media influencer/model Jayla Koriyan, and more who join the daring dating experience to find love once again.

Though in a venerable situation, there was more than just ‘finding love’ that evolved from the filming of the show. “Watching the growth within the cast from week 1 to the finish, there was so much growth,” Bow Wow tells JaGurl TV, “watching them start from one point and end at another”. Bow Wow even admits he would trust 1 or even 2 of his own exes to help him find love.

The great news is you can expect to see more from Bow Wow in collaboration with BET. “My feet is back in the door with BET, we’re back in business. We have other shows that we’re creating too. I have something else in the oven with BET that you will be hearing about very very soon”. In addition to BET shows, we had to ask if there are any show ideas in the works with his TikTok super star and talented daughter Shai Moss, “Right now she got to focus on school. She’s already been working now, but being a dad it’s still instilling that education is first,” he continued, “but she’s on the way, it’s gonna happen in time. Definitely gonna create something, I just don’t want it forced, I want it to naturally happen. You will see us do something within the next 2 years it’s gonna happen, trust me.”

“After Happily Ever After” is executive produced by Julie Pizzi and Erica Ross with Bunim/Murray Productions (MTV’s The Real World and The Challenge, OWN’s Family or Fiancé), and Andrea Richter serves as the series showrunner. Tiffany Lea Williams and Angela Aguilera serve as executive producers for BET. You can catch Bow Wow and the cast of “After Happily Ever After” on BET Wednesday nights at 10/9c.
