Gospel trailblazer Kirk Franklin‘s latest movie The Night Before Christmas is set to premiere on Lifetime. The story follows an estranged mother and daughter duo who take refuge in a church with some of its members including the pastor and music teacher.
On Christmas Eve, Journee (Naturi Naughton) and Nia (Lorea Turner) are forced to shelter in a local church. Inside they find members devastated about the cancellation of their annual holiday festivities. With the help of the pastor (Luke James) and music teacher (Kirk Franklin), Journee and Nia reconnect through faith, love, and music while the duo help save the church’s holiday traditions.
The new holiday film is set to premiere on Lifetime on December 10th at 8pm. Kirk Franklin, Naturi Naughton, and Tracy “Twinkie” Byrd serve as executive producers.
