Doja Cat to Host MTV Video Music Awards 2021

Pop star Doja Cat took to Instagram to announce that she will be host of MTV’s Video music Awards 2021.

The singer is nominated  is for five awards at this year’s award ceremony. The singer is up for the following categories; Video of the Year, Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration (“Kiss Me More”), Best Art Direction (“Best Friend”), and Best Visual Effects (“You Right”).

Along with hosting the award show, Doja Cat will perform. Last year the “Go to Town” singer performed “Say So” and “Like That” at the VMA’s. Other performers for the evening include Lorde, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Chloe Bailey (of Chloe x Halle) and many more.

The award ceremony will air live from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn New York on Sunday, September 12 at 8 p.m.
