The Jacksonville, Florida native KaMillion is a rapper, singer and songwriter that can adapt to any situation in the studio. She has racked up song writing credentials by working with artists like Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks and Rihanna.
This year at the BET Hip Hop Awards she opened up the show with fellow Florida native and show host, Lil Duval. Their song “City Boy” also featuring TOM. G gave KaMillion a chance to not only rep for her hometown, but to show her talents and lyrics off to the world.
She mentioned that this time last year she was sitting on her couch broke; but she had a dream. This year, she is putting herself on the forefront to show off her talents and become a household name. During an interview with JaGurl TV at the BET Hip Hop Awards green carpet, KaMillion gave us an inside on how it was collaborating with Lil Duval, “It was amazing! He’s from my hometown. So everybody is going to be watching this. We reppin’ for Florida, we reppin’ for Jacksonville.”
The performance with KaMillion and Lil Duval will be premiering during the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards On Tuesday October 8th at 8pm.
