Kanye West is making his debut in the beauty industry with a new Yeezy skincare and beauty line. Following in the steps of his wife, Kim Kardashian (KKW), and sister-in-law, Kylie Jenner (Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin), the 43-year-old rapper is interested in creating beauty products centered around makeup, skincare, and body care.
According to TMZ, Kanye recently filed trademark paperwork for Yeezy-branded beauty products (Kanye also trademarked “DONDA” Cosmetics in 2017, named after his late mother). The full list includes “makeup, false eyelashes, facial masks, nail polish, moisturizers, bath gels, body oils, shaving cream, hair care products, and perfumes, along with some hygienic products like toothpaste and deodorant… and even scented pine cones and aromatherapy pillows.”
This business venture for the Yeezy brand is still in its beginning development stages. This means with the creative mind that Mr. West has, this beauty line can go in any unpredictable direction.
As of right now, West has not made a statement in regards to filing a trademark on the beauty line. JaGurl TV will follow this developing story as he makes his way into the growing family business.
