Rapper Lil Yachty announced the release of his new gender-neutral nail polish line, Negatives 001 Collection.

On Monday (May 3rd), the Quality Control rapper took to social media to announce his new business venture.

“I’d like to introduce my new nail paint line @crete__co,” he writes. “FIRST COLOR DROP MAY 21. 4 ALL GENDERS. FOR YOU, NOT THEM!”

The debut collection will include art pins in three monochromatic shades. Their unique packaging is meant to make the nail line more inclusive for all.

The rapper first teased the concept last December in an interview with TMZ.

“It’s unisex, but I want it to be more focused on for men to use it and to be comfortable in their own skin,” He shares. “Because bro, it’s 2020, you know what I’m saying like it’s about to be 2021. come on, what are barriers? We still have barriers?”

Yachty has often used his platform to share his own nail art. Previously, he spoke out about an incident where a Texas high school student Trevor Wilkinson was suspended from school for having his nails painted.

“If someone wants to express themself in any type of way, as long as it’s not harming anyone or bringing anyone down, they should be allowed to do so,” he says. “You shouldn’t be punished or tormented for being you.”

The “Oprah’s Bank Account” rapper’s inclusive nail polish line is in collaboration with Kinetic Brands.

Lil Yachty’s “Negative 001”, Crete nail polish will be release on May 21st, 2021.
