Prepare to see GRAMMY award winning artist, Lizzo, presented to you on your television screens in a totally different way!
Deadline reported, Lizzo signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios to “develop and produce” a TV show. As of right now, there are not much details on the show’s direction or when they will start production.
During a Zoom announcement, she expressed her gratitude and calmed she is “so excited to partner with the amazing team at Amazon.” She also called this a “dream come true. I can’t wait to get started and share my vision with the world,” according to Deadline.
The head of Amazon Studios, Jennifer Salke, followed in Lizzo’s excitement by claiming, “Lizzo is one of the most exciting, creative, joyful artists in the industry, and it is such a pleasure to announce this new deal with her.”
There is also no word if Lizzo will be staring in front of the cameras with this project. She is known for her bold and funny personality through her TikTok and Instagram videos. No matter what side of the camera she is on, her creative skills will make this television gold.
A deal with Amazon is huge and will give us a new side of the “Good as Hell” singer, that we have never seen before.
