Mariah Carey announced the release of her memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey. She was excited to preview the book on her Instagram this week as she announced it is available for preorder.

The book comes right in time with the 30th anniversary of Mariah Carey’s self-titled debut album. The memoir will be released through Andy Cohen Books and will have an audio version read by her-herself. The audio version will have musical components that defined her career and life.
She expressed how writing this memoir was not an easy task for her as it took lots of humbling and healing. She’s hoping to provide her fans with insight and understanding to who she is and the work she’s done in the world and on herself.
“Writing this memoir was incredibly hard, humbling and healing. My sincere hope is that you are moved to a new understanding, not only about me, but also about the resilience of the human spirit,” she said.
The book will be released September 2020.
