Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Teams up with Endeavor to Create Development Programs for Aspiring Minority Executives

Music icon Sean “Diddy” Combs partners with Endeavor to launch a virtual career development program, “The Excellence Program,” to equip aspiring minority executes with skills and resources to be successful.

The music mogul will use his experience and skill set to help aspiring executes. According to the press releases, the free program will be focused on individuals attempting to step into the field of entertainment, marketing, music, and fashion.

“Beginning my career as an intern changed my life, so it’s been a lifelong dream to give the next generation of entrepreneurs and executives access to the best in entertainment, marketing, music, and fashion,” Diddy said in a statement according to REVOLT. “Partnering with Endeavor creates a pipeline to opportunities that allow future leaders to not only succeed but thrive in these highly competitive industries.”

The six-week program starts July 12th. The virtual curriculum will include secessions about categories such as touring, professional development, entertainment business, and storytelling. Alongside Diddy, industry leaders and heavyweights such as Joey Bada$$, Cari Champion, French Montana, Terrance Jenkins, and many more will lead the courses. Executes from REVOLT, Combs Enterprises, Amazon Studios, IMG Models, Endeavor content, Color of Change, and WME will also offer their helping hands for participants.

“The Excellence Program helps ensure access and education are available to all who possess the talent, vision, and creativity necessary to succeed in the entertainment industry,” added Ariel Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor. “We hope it serves as a catalyst to break down barriers and create content that better reflects the communities we serve. We are proud to partner with Sean in bringing this program to life.”

The Excellence program is set to launch on July 12th. After completing the six-week program, the program’s top participants will be entered into a “resume book.” These students will be selected for internships and considered for employment at companies involved in the program process.
