The coronavirus pandemic has healthcare workers putting extra hours in hospitals. Celebrities have begun doing their part to help support the fight against Covid-19. Lizzo is no acception to that rule as she treated the ER staff at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit to a meal as a thank you for all their hard work. On Monday March 30, 2020, Henry Ford Hospital posted a tweet to thank Lizzo for her act of kindness.

Henry Ford is not the only hospital that Lizzo has sent meals for the staff on the front line of this pandemic. M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, Minnesota also tweeted on Monday to thank Lizzo for sending meals for their staff. “That moment when you’re working the ER and @Lizzo surprises you by sending over some lunch!”

Lizzo is from Detroit and also lived in Minneapolis, which explains her connection to these two cities.

During this pandemic Lizzo has found a way to show appreciation to the hardworking healthcare workers around the country. She is an example of different ways we all can come together and help our communities.
